Kalonzo leaving CORD for Jubilee. These will be his new job

We are not wooing Kalonzo for
Foreign Affairs post, says Duale

National Assembly Leader of Majority Aden Duale has
denied claims that Jubilee government is wooing Wiper
party leader Kalonzo Musyoka out of the opposition.
Duale says that claims that Uhuru Kenyatta ’s
government is luring Kalonzo out of Cord for the Foreign
Affairs post in government are false.

Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Sunday,
Duale said that the government has top leaders who can
fill the Foreign Affairs slot in case the current CS Amina
Mohammed is appointed as African Union (AU)
Commission chair.
“We (Jubilee Party) are not wooing Kalonzo out of the
opposition as being claimed in some media outlets,” he
There have been speculations that the Uhuru’s
government has approached Kalonzo for the Foreign
Affairs post following the nomination of Amina
Mohammed for the AU top job.
Kalonzo has however denied claims of being approached
by Jubilee government.
The Wiper leader says that he would rather go home
than accept anything from the Uhuru Kenyatta
Meanwhile, Duale has welcomed Kenya National
Congress (KNC) party to Jubilee .
The Peter Kenneth led party has joined the Jubilee Party.
On Sunday Kenneth said that the party will support
President Uhuru Kenyatta ’s re-election next year.
Kenneth who vied for the presidential seat in 2013 and
emerged fourth has also declared interest to vie for the
Nairobi, Nakuru or Murang’a gubernatorial seat in 2017
